veteran Coastal linebacker with proven production and steady presence
Michael Battle is a seasoned Coastal Carolina linebacker who brings experience, toughness, and positional reliability to the Chanticleers’ defense. Coastal’s official roster lists him at 6-foot-1, 215 pounds, and his long tenure in the program suggests a player coaches can trust with alignment, run fits, and physicality in the box[1]. He looks like a fit for teams wanting a dependable, downhill LB with maturity and structure rather than pure flash; the main draw is his stability and football IQ, not headline-grabbing stats.
