a proven NIU linebacker with old-school production and fast-trigger toughness
In the 2026 season, Northern Illinois linebacker Larry Williams projects as a physical, assignment-sound defender with a track record of production and leadership traits that coaches love. He’s the type of player who shows up in the run game, plays with urgency, and brings a hard-nosed edge that doesn’t always scream on a stat sheet but absolutely pops on tape. If your team wants a dependable linebacker with proven Huskie pedigree, Williams is the kind of fit that raises the floor of a defense.
