Dayo Idowu brings veteran run-stopping juice to North Dakota
Dayo Idowu is a proven, high-motor linebacker for North Dakota, with career production that includes 72 tackles, 13.0 tackles for loss, 3.5 sacks, and an interception across his UND career, though current-season stats are not listed on the school roster[1]. His best differentiators are experience, edge-setting toughness, and disruptive downhill play — the kind of linebacker who can clean up gaps, affect run fits, and make a defense feel older and meaner. He also earned enough off-field respect to be named to the Allstate AFCA Good Works Team, which says plenty about his character and leadership[1].
