Tyler Crider is a low-usage, high-energy depth guard with upside
In the 2025-26 season, Tyler Crider gave Queens backcourt depth as a 6-foot, 160-pound freshman guard from Matthews, N.C., appearing in 11 games and averaging 2.4 points on 28.0% shooting with 3 steals and 6 assists. His value is less about box-score pop and more about being a willing role player who competes, stays ready, and can chip in on the wing if his shot improves. If you need instant offense, he’s not that guy yet; if you want a young guard who fits a team-first culture and has room to grow, he’s worth monitoring.
