From Lumberjacks Benchwarmer to GLIAC Rebounding Force
Ben Olayinka, once a modest 1.8 PPG and 1.7 RPG contributor as a forward for Northern Arizona Lumberjacks (2011-12 season), has evolved into a dominant senior leader at Ferris State Bulldogs, topping the team with 139 rebounds and 37 blocks in the 2023-24 GLIAC season en route to a conference tournament title and 24-7 record. Earned All-GLIAC Second Team honors for his paint protection and board-crashing tenacity, making him a high-motor, defensive anchor ideal for teams needing rebounding intensity and championship pedigree—no notable injury history, pure blue-collar reliability.
