Daniel Carrillo is a depth-speed RB with a flash-play profile at Idaho State
In the 2023 season, Daniel Carrillo appeared in one game for Idaho State and caught a 9-yard pass against San Diego State, so the sample is tiny but he has already shown he can contribute in space[1][2]. He’s more of a developmental piece than a stat-stuffer right now, but the Bengals’ roster context suggests a competitive running back room, which makes every touch a fight and every special-teams snap matter[2][6][9]. If you’re looking for a low-mileage back with upside rather than a proven volume runner, Carrillo is the kind of athlete worth monitoring rather than immediately penciling in[1][2].
