Chris Dunkley brings receiver speed to the secondary for South Florida
Chris Dunkley is an intriguing South Florida defensive back because he brings a rare offensive background, athleticism, and return-style explosiveness that can help him close on the ball and create turnover opportunities. His prep profile showed big-play production as a receiver, which hints at natural ball skills and field vision that can translate well on defense. The main question for a roster fit is how smoothly that athletic upside translates to the speed, technique, and physicality required at DB, but his profile makes him worth a look for a staff that values developmental upside and playmaking potential.
