Ella Fowler brings speed and upside to Niagara’s outfield mix
Ella Fowler is a freshman outfielder for Niagara in the 2026 season, and the early read is that she adds athletic depth and real baserunning value to the Purple Eagles’ roster. Niagara notes Fowler recorded her first collegiate stolen base in the 2026 season, a useful sign for a player whose fit leans toward speed, pressure, and opportunistic offense rather than pure power. She also comes from Lakeshore Catholic High School, which gives her a local, familiar-background profile that often translates well in transition years. If a team wants energy, range, and a growth trajectory, Fowler is worth watching.
