Robert Davis Jr. is Old Dominion’s volume-shooting engine and preseason Sun Belt star
In the 2024-25 season, Robert Davis Jr. became Old Dominion’s top returning scorer at 15.6 points per game and set a program record with 116 made threes, while his 348 three-point attempts led Division I—so yes, he’s a flamethrower with unlimited green light[1][3][14]. The differentiator is his relentless shot volume and confidence; the risk-reward is real, since he can stretch defenses and change a game fast, but he’ll also need efficiency and smart decision-making to fully cash in on that aggression[11][15].
