Florida A&M DB with Elite Kick Return Intensity and Redshirt Grit
Yirmyah Yirmyah (#29), a Florida A&M Rattlers defensive back from Apopka, FL, stands out not just for his tackles but for his relentless intensity on kick returns—evidenced by his 2021 game coverage against USF where he limited a return to just 6 yards. Though he redshirted as a sophomore in 2020 due to a canceled season and recorded only three tackles in five games in 2021, his resilience and redshirt development have sharpened his instincts. He’s a high-intensity, personality-driven DB who thrives in pressure situations, making him a perfect fit for teams needing a DB with grit, coverage savvy, and a ‘never-back-down’ mentality. While not a stat leader, his differentiator is his mental toughness and return-game discipline.
