Zelbert Johnson brings linebacker depth and matchup value to Murray State
Zelbert Johnson is listed on Murray State’s 2026 spring football roster as a linebacker, which signals he remains in the program and in the mix for the Racers’ defensive plans.[4] With no public stat line in the search results, the best read is that he profiles as a depth-and-development fit rather than a headline producer right now; the key question is whether his tape shows the instincts, run support, and physicality coaches want at LB. For a team, the appeal is a potentially coachable defender who can grow into special-teams or rotational value if his processing and tackling hold up.[4][8]
