Hannah Dorsett is UAB’s steady-glove, high-contact infield spark plug
In the 2026 season, Hannah Dorsett has been one of UAB’s most reliable table-setters, hitting .322 with 58 hits and 15 RBIs while also adding 7 steals, and she earned American Conference All-Second Team honors[3][4]. She stands out for consistency, bat-to-ball skill, and a team-first profile that shows up in her conference-leading sacrifice bunts, which is the kind of detail coaches love and box scores don’t fully capture[3]. If a team wants an infield defender who competes every day, keeps innings alive, and brings a disciplined, low-drama approach, Dorsett fits the bill nicely[1][3].
