Tony Mikulec brings a proven big-leg profile for Central Michigan
Tony Mikulec’s profile is that of a field-flipping punter with real-game proof: in the 2007 season he averaged 38.2 yards on 66 punts, including 18 inside the 20 and 3 touchbacks, and earlier earned MAC West Special Teams Player of the Week honors after a 42.3-yard outing against Boston College in 2006. He looks like the kind of specialist who can help a team win hidden yardage with hang time, direction, and poise, though his punting average sits more in solid than elite territory.
