Carl Nesmith brings size and special-teams value, but Kansas-era impact is still limited
Nesmith is a long, physical defensive back/defensive back-sized athlete at 6'4", 230 pounds whose profile is built more on versatility and upside than on a heavy statistical resume; recent college data shows only limited defensive production, including two tackles and a sack in three games in 2024 at Utah State, while other listings note he led his team in tackles in two straight seasons earlier in his career. That makes him the kind of player to care about if your team values length, toughness, and developmental potential over instant box-score production.
