Antonio Gaines brings veteran Tennessee depth, but current production is limited
Antonio Gaines is a senior DB for Tennessee in the 2026 season, listed at 5-9 and 185 pounds with Covington ties, and his current stat line shows modest on-field production rather than headline-grabbing numbers[1][2]. His value is more about veteran presence, experience, and roster stability than splash plays, which can matter a lot in the secondary when teams need someone who knows the system and won’t flinch under pressure[2]. If you’re looking for a proven playmaker, the recent data is thin; if you want seasoned depth and a reliable locker-room fit, he’s at least worth a look[1][2].
