Carla Thomas brings old-school post production and big-game pedigree
Carla Thomas was a force for Vanderbilt in the 2006-07 season, averaging 16.2 points and 6.4 rebounds per game while earning unanimous First-Team All-SEC honors and SEC Tournament MVP again. Her calling cards were efficiency, physicality, and clutch scoring: she finished her Vanderbilt career with 1,774 points, ranked among the program’s all-time leaders in field-goal and free-throw percentage, and consistently delivered against ranked teams. If a team wants a tough interior scorer with proven high-pressure production, Thomas is exactly the kind of frontcourt anchor that makes opponents miserable.
