Avery Shamblin brings clutch complete-game upside to Charlotte’s circle
In the 2026 season, Avery Shamblin has shown real rotation value for Charlotte, making 17 appearances and four starts while delivering multiple standout outings, including a complete-game, two-hit performance that helped seal a series win. Her appeal is the hard-to-quantify stuff: she can settle games down, handles pressure without looking rattled, and has proven she can finish what she starts. She’s not just a filler arm—when she’s on, she gives the 49ers a gritty, competitive RHP who can swing a series.
