Colton Folliard brings veteran linebacker grit to Western Illinois
Colton Folliard profiles as a tough, experienced Western Illinois linebacker with a compact 6-2, 225-pound build and a background of contributing in game action rather than just riding the bench. In his 2020 season notes, he appeared in six games and recorded three tackles, which points to a depth-piece role with room to grow into a steadier special-teams and run-defense presence. He looks like the kind of player who fits a physical, blue-collar defense: reliable, workmanlike, and not flashy—but the sort of linebacker coaches like because he should hit, compete, and do the dirty work.
