Tyler Beaulieu brings twitchy, middle-of-the-field athleticism to Cornell’s outfield
Beaulieu is a sophomore outfielder at Cornell who has been a regular in the lineup, starting 28 of 29 games in 2026, while hitting .224 with 3 home runs and 15 RBI[2][1]. What makes him interesting is the athletic profile behind the numbers: multiple scouting notes describe him as a speedy, spark-plug type with a compact frame and middle-of-the-field tools, which suggests value beyond raw production if he keeps adding strength and consistency[3][5][9]. He looks like a fit for teams wanting an energetic, up-the-middle athlete with upside rather than a finished product[3][5].
