Syheam McQueen gives Western Carolina a sturdy, downhill RB with legit recruiting pedigree
Syheam McQueen is a Western Carolina running back who entered college as a three-star prospect and one of North Carolina’s better prep backs, which gives him a strong baseline of toughness and upside. In the 2026 season, ESPN lists him with 26 carries for 100 yards, showing a steady, physical workload rather than splashy explosiveness. He’s the kind of back who can fit a team looking for a reliable, between-the-tackles runner with proven development potential and a solid frame at roughly 6-foot, 205 pounds.
