Antwone Snead brings size, rebounding, and veteran frontcourt presence to Purdue Fort Wayne
Snead is a 6-foot-5, 220-pound forward whose value comes from toughness and work on the glass: in his junior season with Purdue Fort Wayne in 2009-10, he averaged 5.5 points and 6.6 rebounds while playing in 29 of 31 games and starting 11, and he previously helped Lamar Community College to a 27-11 record. He looks like a fit for a team needing a physical, low-maintenance forward who can rebound, compete, and absorb contact rather than command touches.
