In the 2025 season, Justin Zames enters Virginia as a 6-foot-4, 237-238-pound freshman tight end with a strong recruiting pedigree, rated a consensus three-star and a top-5 tight end in Florida by UVA’s roster bio and Rivals. He arrives from Berkeley Prep, where he was a team captain, helped win a 2023 state title, and also starred in lacrosse — a nice clue that he brings coordination and competitive juice, not just frame.
