Dyllan Malone brings a length-and-upside profile to South Dakota’s receiver room
Malone is a 6-foot-3, long-frame wideout from Yorkville who arrived as a three-star recruit and top-50 Illinois prospect, giving South Dakota a developmental target with real contested-catch upside. In his senior high school season, he posted 31 catches for 474 yards and 4 touchdowns, and he added multi-sport speed from basketball and track. He looks like a fit if a team wants a rangy boundary receiver with room to grow, especially in a system that values projection, route refinement, and red-zone playmaking.
