Duke McCarron is a strike-throwing righty who has become a dependable arm for Saint Joseph’s
In the 2026 season, Duke McCarron has worked 45.0 innings for Saint Joseph’s with a 3.80 ERA, 39 strikeouts, and a .241 opponent average, showing the kind of command-and-competitiveness profile coaches like in a rotation piece.[8] He’s a right-handed pitcher with a listed 6-0, 190 build, and scouting notes plus game chatter suggest he can miss bats with a fastball that has reached the mid-80s and, in at least one recent outing, touched 96 mph while mixing a changeup.[2][3][5] The appeal here is not just stats: he has a track record of earning recognition as a high-level prep arm and looks like a useful fit for a team that values poise, strike throwing, and developmental upside.[2][7]
