Purdue adds a proven pass-rush spark in Elo Modozie
Elo Modozie is a long, athletic edge defender who brings real backfield disruption to Purdue after flashing in 2024 with Army, when he posted 34 tackles, 8 tackles for loss and 6.5 sacks in 14 games. He followed that with SEC experience at Georgia in 2025, appearing in 13 games and adding 7 tackles, so the Boilermakers get a player who has already taken snaps against high-level competition. The fit is obvious: speed, size, and pass-rush juice, with enough versatility to help right away if Purdue wants pressure off the edge.
