Maine’s veteran safety brings size, experience, and downhill toughness
Jaleal Williams-Evans is a senior safety for Maine in the 2025 season, listed at 6-0, 224 pounds, and that frame screams physical, box-friendly football. He brings proven experience from prior stops and has enough versatility to show up in coverage or as an extra run defender, which makes him a useful fit for a defense that wants reliability and contact on the back end. The stat sheet doesn’t tell the whole story here, but the profile does: older, sturdier, and built like a tone-setter rather than a track meet specialist.
