Davidson’s freshman spark plug is already the Wildcats’ most dangerous bat
In the 2026 season, Matt Manjooran has quickly become Davidson’s offensive engine, leading the Wildcats with a .339 batting average, 65 hits, 49 RBIs, 100 total bases, and team-best extra-base pop in doubles and triples. He’s earned two Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Week honors and All-Rookie Team recognition, and the buzz around him is simple: he produces, he moves around defensively, and he delivers in big moments—like a walk-off RBI single in his college debut. If your team wants a right-handed freshman with advanced hit tool and plug-and-play versatility, this kid fits the bill.
