Brady McAbee brings left-handed pop and clutch-catcher energy for Memphis
In the 2026 season, Memphis catcher Brady McAbee has been a real two-way lineup spark, batting .279 with a .882 OPS, 7 home runs, 25 RBI and a .407 on-base percentage across 42 games[9]. He’s a 6-foot-2, 213-pound junior with a left-handed bat and a reputation as a good receiver behind the plate, and he’s already shown game-flipping power with multiple clutch homers and a huge five-RBI night[6][4][5]. If you want a catcher who can handle the staff, punish mistakes, and play with some edge, McAbee absolutely fits the bill[6][5].
