Nathan Ball brings loud-contact pop and flexibility to CMU’s lineup
In the 2025 season, Nathan Ball gave Central Michigan a sturdy 45-game presence with 38 starts, posting a .264 average, three triples, and strong situational production, including .340 with runners in scoring position and .500 as a pinch hitter. At 6-foot-4 and 240 pounds, he has legitimate corner-infield thump but also enough athletic utility to fit at first base, designated hitter, or the outfield. He looks like a useful roster fit for teams that value physicality, clutch situational hitting, and lineup depth over flashy tools.
