Chance Fitzgerald is a hard-throwing Clemson sophomore with a live three-pitch mix
Chance Fitzgerald stands out as a Clemson right-hander who has shown starter-level stuff: 91-92 mph fastball velocity, a consistent 86-88 mph changeup, and a low-80s slider give him real swing-and-miss potential, while coach comments and a career outing against Presbyterian suggest he can handle meaningful innings under the lights. He also posted a 2.04 ERA with 20 strikeouts in 22.0 innings in summer ball, which adds context to the raw stuff. If you want a high-upside arm with pitchability and composure, he looks like a strong fit.
