Young Western Carolina RHP with upside, but still proving consistency
In the 2024 season, Griffin Guinther posted a 7.71 ERA across 14.0 innings for Western Carolina, so the current performance picture is more about projection than production right now. He is a 6-foot-1, 195-pound right-handed pitcher with a strong baseball frame and still has developmental runway as a class of 2027 arm, which makes him an interesting fit for programs looking for a live-bodied, coachable pitcher they can help refine. The main question is command and consistency; the upside is tied to his physical tools and long-term development rather than immediate stat-line dominance.
