Zach Hernandez is flashing bat-missing upside for Belmont’s bullpen
In the 2025 season, Belmont right-hander Zach Hernandez showed real swing-and-miss juice, posting a 0.00 ERA with 13 strikeouts in 8.1 innings across five appearances, and the Bruins noted he was in line for a third start that spring[3]. At 6'2" and 200 pounds, he looks like a sturdy, competitive arm with starter potential; the big differentiator is the strikeout rate, though the walk total suggests command still needs sharpening. If your team wants a live arm with upside and room to grow, he’s worth a serious look[1][3].
