Hannah Cole brings high-upside, power-pitching potential for UAB
In 2026, Hannah Cole has flashed real swing-and-miss promise for UAB, highlighted by a first collegiate win and six scoreless relief innings in two postseason appearances. A redshirt freshman right-hander from Lambert HS, she arrived with elite prep credentials—807 strikeouts, 29 career homers, and multiple pitcher-of-the-year honors—which hints at serious two-way athleticism and competitive edge. The takeaway: she looks like a tough, high-energy arm with room to grow, especially for a staff wanting upside, composure, and a pitcher who can handle pressure.
