Old-School Interior Anchor for Houston Christian
Gales profiles as a tough, traditional center whose value comes from rebounding, rim protection and physical interior play rather than volume scoring; at Houston Baptist/HCU he was credited with averaging 3.0 rebounds and 2.0 points in 15 games, and earlier his high school resume featured 15 points, 15 rebounds and four blocks per game as a senior. His differentiators are size, willingness to battle inside and a low-maintenance role fit, which can help a team that needs defensive toughness and a paint presence more than a featured offensive option.
