Jaden Alba brings starter-to-reliever flexibility and strikeout bite for ASU
Jaden Alba has been a useful swing arm for Arizona State, showing starter-level durability and bullpen punch; in the 2026 season, he delivered a career-best 5.2 innings of one-run baseball with seven strikeouts in a win over Houston, and earlier posted a scoreless 4.0-inning relief outing with five strikeouts at Baylor. He’s a 6-foot-3 right-hander with a clean “attack the zone” profile, and the biggest differentiator is that he can help in multiple roles without looking overwhelmed. If you want a competitive, innings-eating RHP with upside and toughness, he’s worth a serious look.
