Gabby Higbee brings steady left-handed contact and everyday reliability for Nicholls
Gabby Higbee has been a dependable everyday bat for Nicholls in 2026, starting all 52 games she appeared in and hitting .273 with 42 hits, while adding a first base/outfield profile and a left-handed swing that gives lineups balance.[6][3] She stands out more for consistency and competitiveness than flash: she shows up in big spots, contributes RBI production, and gives a coaching staff a durable, low-maintenance piece who can help stabilize the middle of a lineup.[2][6] She looks like a fit for teams that value contact, versatility, and steady effort over pure power.[6][3]
