Jamier Smith brings junior-college toughness and plug-and-play size to WKU’s offensive line
Smith is a 6-foot-3, 298-pound redshirt freshman OL at Western Kentucky in the 2026 season who arrived from Georgia Military College after appearing in nine games and helping a 10-1 team average nearly 450 yards of offense per game. WKU’s roster lists him as an interior lineman, and that profile suggests a physical, experienced-for-his-year blocker with a strong base and the kind of JUCO grit coaches love. He looks like a depth-to-rotation fit now, with the ceiling to become a useful power-conference-style mauler if his technique keeps catching up to his frame.
