Malcolm Jones is a versatile, high-motor safety with proven SEC-to-C-USA experience
In the 2025 season, Malcolm Jones emerged as a real defensive piece for Jacksonville State: he played all 14 games, made 55 tackles, added 5.0 tackles for loss, 3.0 sacks, 2 forced fumbles and a recovery. He brings a strong blend of size (6-1, 206) and back-end toughness, but the bigger selling point is his versatility—he can fit in the secondary and still flash as a pressure player near the line. He was a three-star recruit, and the buzz is that his intensity and physicality translate well.
