EJ Garcia brings durability and swing-and-miss flashes to UIW’s rotation
In the 2025 season, EJ Garcia handled a heavy workload for Incarnate Word, going 5-6 with a 7.01 ERA and 33 strikeouts across 69.1 innings, and in early 2026 he continued to take the ball as a starter with mixed results. His value is not just the box score: UIW has trusted him in multiple roles, and he’s shown the toughness to battle through contact and keep competing deep into innings. He’s a fit if your team wants a righty who competes hard, can absorb innings, and still has room to sharpen consistency.
