Dillan Fontus brings Syracuse a massive, run-stuffing presence on the interior
Fontus is a 6-6, 300-pound senior transfer from Maryland who arrives in 2026 with experience in 36 career games and a reputation for holding up against the run. In the 2025 season at Maryland, he posted 27 tackles and 3.5 tackles for loss, and Syracuse’s fall camp notes singled him out as an impact player with a nose-tackle profile built to clog lanes and let others hunt plays. If your team wants a big, experienced, physical interior DL who can stabilize the front, he’s a strong fit.
