Veteran two-way Tulane guard brings rebounding, steals, and glue-guy grit
Christion Thompson is a seasoned, do-it-all Tulane guard whose calling card has been toughness, defensive activity, and the kind of all-around edge coaches love. In his standout 2019-20 season, he averaged 14.1 points, 6.3 rebounds, 2.8 assists, and 1.9 steals while leading Tulane in rebounds, assists, steals, and field-goal percentage; that production underscores a high-IQ, high-motor player who impacts winning beyond scoring. His best fit is a team that values veteran leadership, physical defense, and a guard who can rebound like a forward and make winning plays without needing the spotlight.
