Tru Medina is an impact freshman bat with lineup-changing power for Northwestern
In the 2026 season, Medina started 37 games and showed immediate value with a .200 average, five doubles, a triple, three home runs, and 14 RBI, including several clutch extra-base hits and a game-tying seventh-inning homer against Texas State.[1][2][8] What makes her stand out is the combo of power, big-moment poise, and infield versatility; she also brings a right-handed arm and solid quickness/tools that translate well on defense and in pressure situations.[5][12][15] If you want a player who can grow into a tougher lineup role, she fits the profile.
