Cal Miller is a high-contact freshman infielder trending as Utah’s future bat
Cal Miller has emerged as a promising building block for Utah, hitting .345 with a .988 OPS, 57 hits, 14 doubles, six home runs, 27 RBIs and a .449 on-base percentage across 46 games in the 2026 season. [2] The freshman INF brings left-handed bat-to-ball ability, gap power, and consistent on-base production, which makes him more than just a box-score hitter; Utah’s coverage describes him as a future core piece rather than a flash-in-the-pan contributor. [6][2] If your team values a young, productive infielder with upside and lineup stability, he fits the profile. [6][2]
