Big, physical center whose value comes from rebounding, interior toughness, and rim protection
De La Rosa’s calling card is old-school interior impact: at Kent State in the 2017-18 season, he averaged 11.8 points, 7.6 rebounds, and 22 blocks while starting 32 of 34 games, then returned from March ACL surgery to appear in 26 games for Illinois in 2018-19 and provide depth, energy, and size. His best fit is a team that needs a strong-bodied, physical center who can defend the paint, finish around the rim, and survive the grind of contact-heavy minutes rather than stretch the floor or create offense on his own.
