McNeese’s versatile contact bat with real pop
In the 2026 season, DJ Pinkerton has been a productive, do-everything piece for McNeese, hitting .255 with a .722 OPS while flashing extra-base impact, including a home run, a triple, and multiple RBI bursts in key wins. He brings value beyond the box score: he’s a capable baserunner, has shown the ability to hit in the middle of the order, and has delivered in pressure spots, including a grand slam and a three-RBI game. If you want an outfielder who can contribute immediately with energy, versatility, and timely offense, he’s worth a hard look.
