Columbia’s 6-5, 285-pound OL Nick Purdy is a developmental depth piece with real trench upside
In the 2025 season, Nick Purdy was a first-year Columbia offensive lineman who did not see game action because of injury, so the picture is more projection than production right now. The intriguing part: at 6-5 and 285 pounds, he already has the frame, high-school résumé, and multi-sport strength background to become a physical interior/edge line prospect. He earned first-team all-area and two straight first-team all-county honors at Mariner, which suggests toughness and a strong competitive base. If you want a long-term, technically coachable lineman with size and upside, he’s worth the wait.
