Kadie Becker brings experienced, late-season upside to NC State’s circle
Becker is an experienced right-hander who has already shown she can settle in as a useful staff arm, with South Carolina noting a strong late-2025 finish: a 1.85 ERA over her final 11.1 innings with eight strikeouts and two walks. NC State lists her career at a 5.30 ERA and 3-1 record, which suggests she’s more of a depth-and-matchup pitcher than a finished ace, but the differentiator is her ability to string together clean relief innings when she finds rhythm. She looks like a fit for a team that values strike-throwing, composure, and upside development over instant star power.
