Quinnipiac’s High-Intensity Freshman RHP with Elite Strikeout Potential
Laney Adie, a first-year right-handed pitcher for Quinnipiac Bobcats, stands out in the 2026 season with 34 strikeouts in 66.2 innings and a career-high intensity level that rivals her 221-strikeout 2024-2025 high school season. Her differentiator is not just raw stats but her relentless pitching mentality, 4.2 GPA academic discipline, and ability to deliver complete games under pressure—evidenced by her 1.00 ERA in a key MAAC weekly award-winning outing. While her 5.14 ERA reflects early collegiate adjustment, her 34 Ks and 3 HBP show she commands the plate aggressively. Adie is a strong fit for teams seeking a high-workhorse, mentally tough RHP with Gold 18u experience and a proven track record of intensity and consistency.
