Dexter Fields brings steady bench scoring and veteran guard presence to Murray State
Fields is a 6-2 guard who provides reliable scoring punch and rotation stability for Murray State, averaging 6.8 points, 2.2 rebounds, and 1.0 assists while shooting 40.2% from the field in the 2025-26 season. He has proven experience after two seasons at UAB, where he appeared in 60 games and posted a 5.3-point career scoring average, which suggests a player who can handle a larger program and stay ready for meaningful minutes. He fits best as a dependable guard who can supplement backcourt depth rather than carry an offense.[1][2][3]
