Frankie Ferrentino brings steady pop and run-production touch to CCSU
In the 2026 season, Frankie Ferrentino has been a productive bat for Central Connecticut, hitting .268 with a .891 OPS, 19 runs, 19 hits, 4 doubles, 4 home runs, and 18 RBI while appearing in 21 games as a catcher/DH[3]. He also showed up in key moments, including a go-ahead RBI single against Quinnipiac and multiple extra-base hits in conference play[2][6]. The profile here is a line-drive hitter with some power, enough on-base value to matter, and the kind of competitive edge that keeps him in the middle of the action rather than just behind the plate[2][3].
